About Me

Nice to Meet You

Hi! I'm Casey Okoniewski, a licensed psychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental disabilities. I have spent my career providing developmental, psychological, educational, and behavioral diagnostic assessments to individuals across the lifespan, searching to understand more about themselves and their experiences.

I received my Masters in Education/Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and then worked as a preschool and elementary-level public school psychologist. In 2017, I obtained my Doctorate of Philosophy in School Psychology from North Carolina State University after completing my clinical internship at the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities. Since then, I have split my time as a clinical researcher at RTI International and as a private psychologist.

My practice is motivated by a desire to help individuals meet their greatest potential utilizing a strengths-based, scientist-practitioner model. Through empirically-based assessment and intervention techniques, I aim to empower individuals, their families, and support systems to access resources to comprehensively meet their goals.

I look forward to the opportunity to work together.
